Whenever the party season arrives, we start looking for top-notch decorations—and what do we usually end up using? Balloons. Red, white, purple, metallic—available in so many colours, materials, and prints, aren’t they?

But have you ever wondered—where do these balloons go once the party is over?

The environmental impact of balloons is severe, and their short-lived fun comes at a very high cost to our planet.

When balloons are popped or discarded, they break down into smaller fragments. Whether thrown in the bin or left as litter, they eventually find their way into our ecosystem—our shared, fragile space.
