Rising carbon footprint is constantly posing a threat to our planet. Soaring CO2 emissions lead to global warming putting all species on Earth at risk, YUGO wants to draw attention to this threatening problem and promote eco-friendly living so that nature and humans can symbiotically coexist.
What is eco-friendly living:
One of the primary causes of global warming is human activity. Our careless behavior is converting Earth into a garbage dump. YUGO comprehends how important it is to adopt eco-friendly/environmentally friendly living in order to leave a greener planet for our future generations.
The word "Eco" derives from the Latin word “Oeco”, which means "household." Today, it's frequently used to denote "habitat," "home," or "Earth." Thus, the term "eco-friendly" simply refers to being Earth-friendly.
In essence, it's about those actions, products, and services that don't harm the Earth. Thinking specifically about products entails taking into account every aspect of their creation, from the ingredients used to the method of delivery.
Although you have no control over whether the items you discard are recycled or used again but you can always invest in items that are biodegradable and made of non-synthetic materials to lessen the impact of this waste. Products that are biodegradable disintegrate naturally. This indicates that they won't harm the environment.
Usually, littering is how plastics end up in the environment. Plastic breaks down into smaller particles when subjected to various environmental influences, such as the sun, wind, and fraction. More toxicity results from such smaller particles. Over time, the effects of plastic residue on the environment and all species has become more hazardous and toxic.
YUGO realizes the impact of this adversity and ensures to minimize the consumption of plastic while packaging. Even though there are times when we have to use bubble wrap in order to protect fragile items or while sealing the shipment packages with tape but we ensure not to go overboard. We concentrate on environmentally friendly packaging, which includes corrugated recyclable boxes and recyclable paper wrapping.

The word "YUGO" is of Japanese origin and its historical meaning is "fusion." As the name implies, we at YUGO are working to introduce our traditional, handcrafted and sustainably locally produced items to every single contemporary Indian household of twenty-first century.
